[edit] History

On November 16, 2006 Western announced that they would begin flights in January from Bellingham International Airport to four vacation destinations. They stated that they would begin service on January 18, 2007.

The airline is currently working through the process of gaining FAA approval as a commercial airline. Currently Western will operate as a "scheduled charter" service, as they will wet lease their aircraft from Xtra Airways, doing this as a way to keep expense to a minimum if things fail. Many airlines do this as a way to test new service and routes. Some are a bit wary about airlines that operate this way for the majority have been unreliable and have ceased operation.

[edit] Destinations

Western currently flies to no destinations, but will fly to 5 destinations throughout the United States when service begins on January 19, 2007 - January 18, 2007 - January 24, 2007 - January 24, 2007.
