West Springfield Middle School

West Springfield Middle School is the middle school for the city of West Springfield. The school was built in 1998, carved out where an old landfill used to be. Its maximum capacity is about 1,000 students, ranging from grades 6 to 8. It is located near the center of the city and is close to the city's high school, West Springfield,MA High School, and one of its elementary schools, John R. Fausey School. The school's mascot is the Junior Terriers, due to the fact that the town's high school's mascot is a terrier dog.
