West Monkseaton

West Monkseaton is a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro which originally opened on March 2, 1933. It reopened as part of the first section of the Metro on August 11, 1980.
It is a residential area of mainly semi-detached housing which grew up between the 1920s and the 1950s.
