West Mobile, Alabama

West Mobile is generally referred to as the suburban area immediately west of the city limits of Mobile, Alabama, USA. The area has experienced marked commercial growth in recent years and is home to many department stores, businesses, and restaurants. Several affluent residential neighborhoods have also been constructed primarily south of Airport Boulevard in West Mobile.

The area is also home to Mobile's Regional Airport and the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center.
