West Haven High School

West Haven High School is a secondary school located in West Haven, Connecticut which educates students in grades 9–12.
As of 2006, the school principal is Ronald Stancil. The school enrolls approximately 1,800 students each year, in contrast to the state average of 524.4. [1] The mascot of West Haven is the Blue Devil.
Their football team has won three state titles under the leadership of coach Ed McCarthy (1986, 1987, 1989, 2002). [2]
West Haven High School offers various couses including automotives, wood shop, metal shop, photography, graphic arts, drafting, video production, various levels or academics, and art courses. The school is home to an ice skating rink, football stadium, pool, tennis court, soft ball field, and a track.

- Ulish Booker, professional football player for NFL (signed) and NFL Europe (active)[2]
- Mark Heffernan Relative of Kevin Heffernan, of hit comedy; Super Troopers, and a member of Broken Lizard comedy group
- Jason Forsyth & Chris Cornell Professional Muscians of Shuya Fame
- Marc Capone 2005 Polk High Capt. 4 Touchdowns in a single game. Went on to play for Bon Jovi's team in the CFL.
- Matt Russello Inventor of the Low-High Tube Sock. Later arrested for Mopery.
