West Genesee Central School District

The West Genesee Central School District (WGCSD) is a public school district located in suburban Syracuse, NY. The district covers 41 square miles and is centered in the town of Camillus, but also serves parts of Elbridge, Geddes, Onondaga, and Van Buren. Student enrollment as of the 2006-2007 academic year is 5,113. The district has 825 employees, 438 of which are academic professionals.[1]

The district offices are located adjacent to Stonehedge Elementary at 300 Sanderson Drive in Camillus. The current Superintendent of Schools is Rudolph Rubeis.

The Board of Education is comprised of nine elected members who serve without pay. Members are elected to three year terms.[2] Current members:
