WestWirralWorks City Learning Centre is situated on the campus of Hilbre High School, West Kirby. The centre specialises in Computer Aided Design and Manufacture (CAD/CAM), and aims to raise attainment in all subjects across the national curriculum by promoting the innovative use of ICT. The centre provides access to a host of high-tech equipment and resources, and has worked closely with advisory teachers to develop an extensive portfolio of projects. The centre offers specialist support in Design Technology and ICT to all Wirral schools, and has developed a loan system that provides CAD/CAM, construction, control and electronics kits to schools. The centre offers services to businesses and the local community.
