The name of this page should be National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) rather than West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. I propose that this page be moved.

I am sorry about the earlier post. I checked out the NUJS website and confirmed that the University is indeed known by the name of West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. Now what I am going to do is create some redirect pages that affirm with the conventions.

[edit] Add Criticism section

The page lacks in the Criticism section. Moreover, the achievement section is not quite satisfactory. It should be able to list, link or cite some of the major achievements of the University as well. Add details about the faculty members as well.

I have uploaded the logo of the Law School. This page currently requires an infobox, like ones available on GNLU and NLSIU site. You can copy the source code from those pages to this one, and then upload information about the university. --Andy123 13:09, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Here's a sample:

The objectives of the University inter alia are to: Advance and disseminate learning and knowledge of law and legal processes and their role in national development To develop in the student and research scholar a sense of responsibility to serve society by developing skills in regard to advocacy, legal service, legislation, law reforms and the like. To promote inter-disciplinary study of law in relation to management, technology, inter national cooperation and development. Legal Studies at NUJS aim at a comprehensive learning experience, not only in traditional fields of legal education, but in contemporary cutting edge disciplines as well. The course structure is in conformity with the rules prescribed by the Bar Council of India. The Founder Vice Chancellor Dr. N.R. Madhava Menon, established NUJS with an aim to produce "social engineers". According to him, NUJS is a law school, which attempts to transform legal education into "justice education", a concept which emphasizes on legal ethics and social responsibility of the legal profession.

hi mer, thanks for responding, these are the objectives of the university and in my understanding they ought to fall within the definition of encyclopaedic info, for example if a company claims that it will provide homedelivery within 20 hours its not advertisement but a guarantee, so too the objectives of a university though may seem to be a bit flowery or too much over the top, yet they constitute an integral part to understand the institution.
