Werner Stocker

Werner Stocker (b. April 7, 1955 in Flintsbach, Bavaria, Germany-d. May 27, 1993) was a German actor. He studied acting at the Munich Acting School at the Falkenberg school. In 1989 he won the Bavarian Movie Award for his role in the 1988 German film Herbstmilch.
Stocker appeared in the 1987 American tv movie The Dirty Dozen: The Deadly Mission, his big role in the U.S. He also featured in the science fiction hit Highlander: The Series as Darius the 2,000 year old immortal priest.
Werner Stocker became too ill to complete filming and he died shortly before the filming of the season 1 finale. His character's death was featured on the show, allowing an on-screen mourning of the actor by his co-stars.
