Werner Kutzelnigg

Werner Kutzelnigg is a prominent theoretical chemist. He was born on September 10, 1933 in Wien, Vienna. He is now emeritus Professor, Chemistry Faculty, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany. Most notably, he gave significant contributions in the following fields: relativistic quantum chemistry, coupled cluster methods, theoretical calculation of NMR chemical shifts, explicitely correlated wavefunctions.
He is a member of the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science.
