[edit] Censorship of Cunt : the movie/ DVD issue

Wikipedia is not the place for censorship of an issue or association that may be embarrassing. Particularly not a factual statement that a school has been mentioned in the media in conjunction with the release of a dvd.

Also, just because the word Cunt is considered taboo is also no excuse to censor it. I've found some recent edits, such as deleting the issue and stating "Students wear the uniform with pride" etc both disturbing and in the latter case rather flatulent.

So, whoever is trying to cover up this issue, the cat is already so far out of the bag with the media and you don't own the wikipedia article on Werribee secondary college. So you might aswell face the fact you can't bury an issue (particularly since it's taken up so many headlines lately) or use this page as a bizarre attempt in public relations.

This isn't a school newsletter and you don't have control. Instead make edits to expand the article, or improve the factual accuracy. Did all the students go to Werribee? What steps did the school take in the wake of the DVD? etc But no deleting the word cunt, and no burying the issue. This isn't a school newsletter.
