Wennington railway station

Wennington railway station serves the village of Wennington in Lancashire, England. It is operated by Northern Rail who provide all passenger train services. The station was formerly a junction between the lines to Lancaster and Carnforth, but the Lancaster line was closed in 1966. 2,900 passengers used the station in 2004-5, which is served by 5 trains in each direction per day.
