Template:PoD Based in San Francisco, WENCH was an electronic music project created by Frances Byrne; musician, vocalist, programmer, performer, producer and engineer. Influenced by the sacred sounds and rhythms from exotic far off lands; such as Africa Malaysia, Japan and the Middle East and inspired by futuristic themes, Frances Byrne created a unique symphonic explosion of delicate and dreamy unwinding soundscapes and earpiercing sound effects, alien-like cries and pounding percussion with compassionate vocals that speak to the soul and empower the spirit, a utopian journey into a world beyond the nomadic reaches of the synthetic unknown.
