Wembley Downs, Western Australia

Wembley Downs is an affluent and prestigious suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located northwest sector of the prestigious "western suburbs" of Perth. It is about 11km from the CBD and is mostly in the City of Stirling. Its postcode is 6019.

The suburb was named after the local golf course (located within the Town of Cambridge), which was named after the suburb of Wembley.

Wembley Downs contains Hale School, the elite Anglican boys' school, as well as a public primary school and a small shopping centre. Homes in the area range from smaller salmon brick homes to opulent mansions and striking residences in the Hale Heights, Buxton Road and Buntine Road/Faulkner Street areas. Wembley Downs is a leafy "garden" suburb with the street plan designed in a circular pattern around the main intersection.
