This is getting far too large. Probably time to turn it into a user category. Isomorphic 02:11, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

We could possibly have a monthly roll call. Deckiller 02:22, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

We could use Category:User Wikipedia/Welcoming committee, similar to Category:User Wikipedia/RC patrollers. Or Category:Welcoming committee, similar to Category:Esperanzians? Then we could create a userbox which includes the category. haz (user talk)e 20:19, 20 February 2006

[edit] Welcoming welcomers

Should we welcome people onto the welcome committee, or is that too ironic?--ikiroid | (talk) 03:02, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

I used to do that, but I kind of lost track a while back. Some people thought it was ironic, but most of them appreciated it anyway. We should probably start doing it again. So, should we form a subdivision of the welcoming committee called Wikipedia:Welcoming Committee/Welcoming Committee? Um, probably not. A template might be helpful, though. --TantalumTelluride 03:56, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Greeting Collections

As I was settling on a customized greeting to post, I noticed quite a variety. Yes, I know we have a template, but would it serve well to collect these on a subpage here for convenient posting. It would become kind of like a Welcome Wagon kit. --CTSWyneken 21:00, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
