Wellington located at 44°51'54"N, 63°36'59"W is a coummunity of the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia on Fletcher's Lake on Nova Scotia Route 2 approximately 23.3 kilometers from Halifax.

Originally Wellington was an area were cottages were located . Today the cottages are winterized and the residents commute to jobs in Halifax , Dartmouth, Bedford or the Halifax International Airport.
