Weldford is an unincorporated local service district found along the Richibucto River in Kent County, New Brunswick. It is situated between Harcourt and Elsipogtog. Weldford was officially established in 1835 when it was split off from the parish of Richibucto. Weldford is home to several small farming communities including Bass River, Molus River, Fords Mills and Beersville. Bass River is home to Canadian Gold Medalist for Women's Wrestling, Krista Betts.
