WEKAF

WEKAF (World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation) was formed in 1989 in Cebu, Philippines, to further both the sport of eskrima and the proliferation of the Filipino martial arts throughout the world. There are currently over 20 member countries with thousands of practitioners.

The WEKAF world championships are held every other year. Participants from all over the world come together in competition to prove themselves and represent their country in different categories of fullcontact stickfighting and forms.

WEKAF is run through its country directors and an Executive Committee elected from the country directors during the Congress at the World Championships. The Executive decide on WEKAF rules, regulations, election of new countries and host for the next WEKAF World Championships.
