WEDE-CA is a Class-A is a Independent television station licensed in Arlington Heights, Illinois, serving the Chicago, Illinois market on channel 34. The station is owned by First United, Inc. The station broadcasts from a transmitter atop the Sears Tower.

The station was originally a repeater for WJYS channel 62 until the early 2000s, shortly after that station signed on its digital signal, also from the Sears Tower. At that time, Jovon Broadcasting, owners of WJYS, sold channel 34 to different owners, First United, Inc., in which they began to operate on a schedule different from WJYS.
