Webel Informatics Limited (WIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (WEBEL), the government agency responsible for technology development in West Bengal. WIL's mission is to upgrade the level of computer literacy in West Bengal, and it produces around 6,000 professionals every year. With more than 53 franchise locations all over the state, including Bhairab Ganguly College, the company also conducts corporate training in 100 government-aided schools.
WIL's Information Technology Education and Training divisions conduct Diploma and Certificate courses in Software, Hardware with Networking and Multimedia, and a host of IT courses for beginners, with special emphasis on training college students to help make them industry-ready professionals after their graduation.
WIL is the Regional CISCO Network Academy for Eastern India and awards CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA). It is also the Authorized Training Partner of Redhat, conducting Redhat Certified Engineer (RHCE) for individuals and corporate clients.
To help meet the workforce requirement of the ITES-BPO Industry, WIL has started a BPO Career Academy to conduct online BPO Employability Assessment Test (B-EAT) in association with MeriTrac, and also provides Voice-Language Training using General Electric's course materials.
