Webbwood, Ontario

Webbwood is a community in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is in the township of Sables-Spanish Rivers, approximately 75 km west of Greater Sudbury. It has a population of around 600 people.

Webbwood was incorporated as a Town in 1906. On July 1, 1998 it was amalgamated with the Township of the Spanish River, the Town of Massey and a number of unorganised townships to form Sables-Spanish Rivers.

The citizens of Webbwood elected Canada's first-ever woman mayor, Barbara Hanley, in 1936.
