WebFOCUS operational business intelligence from Information Builders, Inc. is developed based on the 30 years of experience from the mainframe reporting tool FOCUS. It is regarded as one of the 4 - 5 most important platforms within the Business Intelligence industry.
It is 100% web based for end users and is designed to give organizations a consistent view of complex business environments, facilitating decision making while simplifying the experience of end users. WebFOCUS includes an integrated development environment, ad hoc and self-service reporting, chart generation features, OLAP, report distribution capabilities and multiple output formats including Microsoft Excel, Adobe PDF, XML, Microsoft Powerpoint, and html.
WebFOCUS can access multiple types of data natively through the use of subsidiary company iWay Software's data and application adapters.
