[edit] OU pictures
Hey, I edited the pictures you uploaded a little bit and wanted to get your opinion before I uploaded them over yours. I'll also upload them to the commons. My pictures are resized since Imageshack only accepts pics up to 1MB, but I would upload the full size pics to the commons. When I make my changes, the file size increases. For instance, your original Seed Sower image is 1.27MB, my version is 3.18MB.

On a personal note, you and I were on a team in Mano's class (VB) back at OU. Congrats on the Boston College thing. Hope you see more contributions from you in your spare time.--NMajdan•talk 13:38, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I noticed that and was going to say something, I guess I got sidetracked. As for the images: I understand making them brighter can serve a good purpose, but I think some of it comes at the price of detail. For instance with the image of the Bizzell library, the bottom of the library by the doors gets blown out and you lose most of the detail of the concrete to the left and right of the door. With the National Weather Center picture the building itself is brightened up, but the sky on the right side is overexposed and it looks white instead of having a bluish tint. With the sower picture the concrete of the pedestal looks a little blown out at the lower left hand corner and the grass has a yellowish tint instead of having that deep green color that the original has. Also the sky again appears to lose some of the rich blue that it has in it. I think the question as to replace them or not hinges on if the thumbnails really improve the page that much and is outweighs the sacrificed detail and color trueness. I'll leave that decision up to you; if you think that it improves the page enough to warrant modifying the images then go ahead and do it. --Webmaestro 18:05, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
