[edit] History

DJ Ice's mother brought DJ Ice to a friend's House, He had a CD Player with an FM Transmitter connected to it. DJ Ice liked the idea of broadcasting his own music on the radio. DJ Ice's mother went to Walmart with DJ Ice and purchased a Belkin Tunecast FM Transmitter. DJ Ice and his mother were discussing a name for the radio station. His mother suggested WDOS, DOS being the first 3 letters of their last name "Dosby", and the title was considered for use

Well, soon DJ Ice discovered that it wasn't going far enough. Eventually, he constructed better antennas in an attempt to improve the coverage. One of the antennas was called the "Tower of Power", which was destroyed in a lawnmower accident, but was later rebuilt. DJ Ice learned of streaming radio, and on radio-info.com an individual named "Big Tom". Big Tom helped DJ Ice set up his own internet radio station. Later, DJ Ice was streaming worldwide. His online radio station has kept on developing ever since. Soon enough, DJ Ice joined forces with NYC Radio Legend Famous Amos who helped out with the progression of WDOS's development. Ever since Big Tom and Famous Amos, WDOS-FM has been growing in popularity
