WDBD (analog channel 40; digital channel 41) is Jackson, Mississippi's Fox affiliate. The station began broadcasting on December 27, 1984, as an independent TV station. Its transmitter is located near Raymond, Mississippi.
In February, 1988, WDBD became a Fox affiliate, and in October, 2001, switched to The WB.
After it was announced that The WB and UPN would merge to form The CW, WRBJ was announced as the new affiliate for The CW, with WDBD's sister station WUFX taking the My Network TV affiliation. In advance of the launch of My Network TV, WDBD and WUFX would swap network affiliations. On July 3, 2006, WDBD rejoined the Fox network, while WUFX picked up the WB affiliation.
