W.C. Pope (b. 1960) is a United States cartoonist, illustrator and caricaturist. Influenced by Mort Walker (Beetle Bailey), George Baker (Sad Sack), Bill Maudlin (Up Front), and Gary Larson (Far Side).
Pope is the official cartoonist of the United States Air Force Reserve, has drawn cartoons for Starlog magazine, and was an independent publisher under the name of ParadoX Press and ParadoX Productions.
Born and raised in Upstate New York.

Since 1991, Pope has created cartoons for the Citizen Airman the magazine of the United States Air Force Reserve with the series Pope's Puns.
[edit] Upcoming Work
Spring 2006 Pope will release his second compilation book of his Air Force cartoons titled Pope's Puns and other Air Force Cartoons: Above and Beyond. In the works is a collection of his earlier comic book work Arthur's World. Pope has also announced that 2007 will see the publication of a collection of his Science Fiction cartoons.
