WCLF channel 22 is one of America's oldest and most-successful religious stations, having its start in October 1979. The station presents religious programming around the clock, as flagship of the nationwide Christian Television Network, which has owned-and-operated and affiliated stations throughout the southeast and in Iowa. WCLF and CTN presents programs produced in-house, such as long-running kids' show "Joy Junction" (which, in the early-1980s, had their version of Three Dog Night's "Joy To The World" as its theme), and the late-night discussion and call-in show, "You and Me". Some of WCLF's programming are also seen on other networks like TBN and Daystar, while WCLF and CTN presents others' shows, like The 700 Club.
WCLF broadcasts on analog channel 22 and digital channel 21, from WTSP's transmitting facilities near Holiday in southwestern Pasco County. On cable, WCLF has a prime cable slot on channel 2 on Bright House systems in the Tampa Bay area. In Sarasota County, Comcast cable carries it on channel 22.
