WCAW-AM /KAZ-68 is Charleston's only Oldies station. The station formerly was a Gospel station until early this year when WKAZ-FM became Jack FM. It operates on 680 AM. It is interesting to know that the station uses the KAZ callsign, despite the station's true callsign is WCAW. WCAW is also Charleston's strongest AM station with an ERP of 10,000 watts. It is owned by the West Virginia Radio Corporation.

In the past, the station played various music formats from country to gospel to American standards.

• WCAW was bought by The West Virginia Radio Corporation in 1993, along with WVAF-FM.
• The Oldies format was on 107.3 FM until sister station WKAZ went with the popular Jack FM format in 2006.
