Wayne Fereday (born Warley, West Midlands, June 16, 1963) is a former professional footballer. He played for QPR, Newcastle United and AFC Bournemouth as a winger.
Wayne made his debut for QPR in August1980 aged 17 in the 4-0 win over Bristol Rovers scoring twice and went on to play 196 league games scoring 21 goals.
He was a lightning fast player (possibly the quickest player seen at Loftus Road in recent seasons).
Fereday left QPR for Newcastle in 1989 but never flourished either there or at Bournemouth.
