Wayne Clarke

Wayne Clarke (born 28 February 1961) was an English professional footballer.
Clarke was born in Wolverhampton, the youngest of five footballing brothers (Allan, Derek, Frank and Kelvin) who played in the English Football League.
As a centre-forward, he represented: Wolverhampton Wanderers (1978-1984): 129+19 league appearances and 30 goals; Birmingham City (1984-1987): 92 appearances and 38 goals; Everton (1987-1989): 46+11 appearances and 18 goals; Leicester City (1989-1990): 10+ 1 appearances and 1 goal; Manchester City (1990-1992): 7+14 appearances and 2 goals; Shrewsbury Town (on loan) (1990): 7 appearances and 6 goals; Stoke City (on loan) (199): 9 appearances and 3 goals; Wolverhampton Wanderers (on loan) (1991): 1 appearance (without scoring); Walsall (1992-1993): 39 appearances and 21 goals and Shrewsbury Town (1993-1995): 53+6 goals and 22 goals. He later served a spell as player-manager at Telford United.
He represented England at Schools and Youth level.
