WayForward Technologies

WayForward Technologies is a game development company based in Valencia, California founded in 1990 by technology entrepreneur Voldi Way. It develops games for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS systems, as well as TV games and PC educational software. The company also created the character Shantae, a hair-whipping genie and star of the Game Boy Color game of the same name, published by Capcom.
