The following section was removed entirely...

Critics of the system argue that the Disciple program affects the social life of children, for it places them out of their initial habitat and into a new region. Others use this program to cement their claim that the Way is a cult. Some critics close to the Way argued that the amount of recuited members was insufficient.

...due to absolutely no validation. I kept the item here so that, if sourced, they can be brought back into the article. The only critic info I could find was from ex-way member pages. Lsjzl 12:28, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

It certainly affected my social life, but wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought ^_^ — Deckiller 02:59, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
  • If we can find, say, three sources of parallel thought from ex way members, we can restrucutre this in and balance the article out nicely. 216.19.115.116 20:44, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Sorry 216. but actually you probably can't. If I find three members who say that Rosalie Rivenbark is retarded, well sorry but you can't actually add that to the piece. Look, when your parent moves to another state for work it "affects the social life of children, for it places them out of their initial habitat and into a new region" therefore that isn't a WAY INTERNATIONAL program comment. Rather it is only a comment on moving children. I know I only handled the 1st part but the others could be argued in the same manner. Lsjzl 13:39, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Actually, I believe the anon was stating that we can state that certain stories have been published by reliable sources consistently, then mention that "____, ____, ____ have reported stories of personal dillemas with the program, whereas ____, ____, ____ cited no issues with it". That actually neutralizes the article fairly well, as long as both viewpoints are addressed. I do agree that the first point is too vague to really develop, so more research for criticism and countercriticism will be required if such a section has some sort of inclusion. — Deckiller 21:12, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
