Waterville is a city in Allamakee County, Iowa, United States. The population was 145 at the 2000 census.

Waterville is located at 43°12′29″N, 91°17′42″W (43.208051, -91.294965)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 145 people, 53 households, and 39 families residing in the city. The population density was 130.2/km² (333.9/mi²). There were 63 housing units at an average density of 56.6/km² (145.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.31% White, and 0.69% from two or more races.

There were 53 households out of which 37.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.4% were married couples living together, 3.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.4% were non-families. 20.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.74 and the average family size was 3.21.

In the city the population was spread out with 32.4% under the age of 18, 5.5% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 23.4% from 45 to 64, and 11.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 119.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 117.8 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $35,625, and the median income for a family was $36,667. Males had a median income of $26,250 versus $16,875 for females. The per capita income for the city was $12,277. There were 7.9% of families and 10.3% of the population living below the poverty line, including 8.9% of under eighteens and 29.4% of those over 64.
