Waterview Tower is a mixed used development under construction in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Slated for completion in 2009, it will be the fifth tallest building in Chicago (and the third tallest residential building). The building will be 319 meters (1,047 feet and 1/2 inch) tall and contain 90 floors for various uses when completed. The tower is being built on the site where a parking lot has been for over 30 years.

The 5-star Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts will make its debut in the United States occupying floors 12 through 27 of the building with 200 hotel condominium units. The remaining floors 30-88 will be 233 residential condominiums.

Recently, Crain's Chicago Business reported that the Illinois Secretary of State is acting on a complaint which alleges that the developer, Teng & Associates, may have violated securities laws by touting the investment potential of their rooms.
