[edit] Watkins, Colorado

Please, I'm just trying to help with the article. I do not appreciate the attack at all. BTW, Welcome to Wikipedia. --Moreau36 00:58, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

I am calm thank you very much. Like I stated above, I just wanted to help, if I OFENDED you in any manner,my apologies. Please, don't take offense on me just trying to help. That's all I'm asking. Thank You. --Moreau36 01:06, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Denver, Colorado

I have noticed you have removed the list of adjacent counties from the article Denver, Colorado, and more than once [1] [2]. I am not sure why you are removing this information. I strongly recommend commenting on the talk page to see what other editors think before removing information from an article. --Ginkgo100 talk ยท e@ 18:49, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Center of population

Hi! I noticed you removed the reference I put in for the center of population of Colorado. If you check the coordinates on Google Maps, you'll notice that they show up between Redtail Rd and Arnett Ranch Rd, both of which are in the town of Littleton. So the center of population is in Littleton. I've put the reference back on the page. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 02:26, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Exclaves versus Dismemberment

Arapahoe County is currently a county with two small exclaves. A consolidated City and County of Aurora would only create one more division of Arapahoe County, but that division would separate the county seat and the bulk of the county's population from the bulk of the county's territory. I haven't lived in Aurora or Arapahoe County in 24 years, but Aurora needs all the friends it can get if it hopes for greater autonomy.

PS - It is usually considered bad manners to remove the material of others without prior discussion.

[edit] Fletcher

According to the Colorado State Archives, the Town of Fletcher was incorporated on May 5, 1903. Please see Colorado Municipal Incorporations (HTML). State of Colorado, Department of Personnel & Administration, Colorado State Archives (December 1, 2004). Retrieved on December 8, 2006..

Please don't change data willy-nilly unless you have a reference of higher authority. It takes me longer to repair your intrusions than to gather the data in the first place.

[edit] Census Designated Places

The United States Census Bureau defines Census Designated Places prior to each decennial census. Census Designated Places do not expire when an area is incorporated. I will mark Castlewood and Southglenn as defunct Census Designated Places.

Please don't remove data unless you can cite an authoritative reference.

[edit] Suggestion

We need someone to write a new article for each of the unincorporated towns shown in red on the list of cities in Colorado. Please e-mail me if you need help. Thanks.

[edit] Post Offices

I've changed the list of cities in Colorado to show the primary Post Office designations rather than just the acceptable ZIP Codes, per your recommendation. Please e-mail me if you have any comments. Thanks.
