"Wasted" is a song from Carrie Underwood's album Some Hearts. It received some country radio airplay as an album track, causing it to chart on the US Country chart weeks before it was actually released as a single. It has been confirmed to be the next single from the Some Hearts album.

"Wasted" deals with themes of alcoholism. The song has two characters who each have to stop the addiction from ruining their lives. The lyrics read "I don't want to spend my life jaded, waiting to wake up one day and find that I've let all these years go by wasted."
