Wason Libardo Rentería Cuesta or simply Rentería (born July 4, 1985 in Quibdó) is a Colombian football striker who currently plays for Internacional. He is known for his great power game, his ability and technique. His height of 1.86 meters make him extremely dangerous in the aerial game. His past clubs include Patriotas de Boyacá and Chicó where he made his professional debut in 2004. Rentería was part of the Colombian national team that took part in the FIFA World Youth Championship in 2005, impressing many with their array of talent and fluid football. Colombia ended up in first place in the regional qualifiers for the World Cup, but lost in the second round of the main event to eventual winners Argentina.
In April 27, 2006 he scored a deciding goal against Club Nacional de Football in the Copa Libertadores de América, to earn a spot in the Quarterfinals. He also made a fantastic goal against LDU in the Copa Libertadores de América.
Despite playing in the reserves most of the time, Rentería quickly became a fan favourite in Internacional because of his irreverent celebrations everytime he scores a goal.
