Warren railway station

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Warren railway station was a station that was built on the New Brighton branch of the Seacombe, Hoylake and Deeside Railway in March 1888 between Wallasey Grove Road and New Brighton. Due to the station only ever serving a small part of the community (and the local golf course), it did not see much use and closed early in October 1916. No remains of the station are to be found however the line still exists and passes through the site as part of the Wirral Line, now operated by Merseyrail.
