The rank of cadet warrant officer 2nd class (C/WO2), is the second highest rank achievable for a cadet in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. The rank is typically given to only one or two cadets within an average single squadron or summer training centre. See WO2 quota vs. vacancies. The position held by a C/WO2 is often the cadet squadron deputy commander or cadet wing deputy commander, but the rank can be given to any cadet meeting the standard. Occasionally a squadron commander may have this rank. A C/WO2 must have years of experience in cadets, completed four of the five training levels, and completed at least one specialty summer training course. Eligible cadets for WO2 must also have held the rank of flight sergeant for six months or more.
