[edit] Generation 1 (1985)
Warpath was an Autobot Mini-Bot from the Generation 1 incarnation of Transformers.
[edit] Warpath Toy
The Warpath toy was originally released in 1985, and reissued in Japan in 2004.
Thinks he is more impressive than his comrades do...likes to show off his sharpshooting. Boisterous, loud-mouthed... raucious sense of humor makes him welcome company. Vain - upset by even the smallest scratch in his gun barrel. Can go 30 mph over roughest terrain, hit a hex nut 1.5 miles away. Shoots explosives, thermal, cryogenic, acid, and sonic shells. Great strength but helpless if upended.
In 2004, the Warpath mold was repainted as a new version of the Gobots character Treads.
[edit] Animated Series
As characterized in that animated series, Warpath had an overly excitable personality, and showed a tendency to make verbal onomatopoeia in the heat of battle.
Warpath first appeared in episode 27, A Prime Problem. Although he did not appear in the Tranformers movie, he continued to make minor appearances in the television series after the movie up until episode 82, Ghost in the Machine.
