Warneet is a coastal village on the northern shore of Westernport Bay, just off the South Gippsland Highway about 66 km south-east of Melbourne, the capital city of Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Casey.

A small village of only 230 houses and a population of about 500 people. Known for excellent fishing, birdwatching and pleasant walking tracks along the foreshore and in surrounding bushland. Warneet is not immune to the ever developing push in this world, recent conflict has arisen over the application for the subdivision of land blocks. If you ever find yourself looking at Quail Island from the coast of Warneet (wondering where you took the wrong turn and how on earth you found such an amazing pocket of scrub), you will be just fine if you have a hand reel or fishin' rod with you. Just grab some bait from the local store and take a stroll down the main or North jetty's and find a comfy spot to drop in a line. Make sure you stay for the sunset, it's a rippa.

The town is serviced periodically by the 795 bus route operated by Cranbourne Transit.
