Warden, or Warden Avenue, is a Vivastation on York Region's Viva bus rapid transit system, north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This Vivastation was originally called Markham Centre, as it was built on the site of the newly proposed Markham Centre. It opened on November 20, 2005, on the intersection of Warden Avenue and Enterprise Drive in Markham, Ontario. It is on the Viva Purple line, Viva Green line, and the Viva Pink line.
This Vivastation was planned to open on Viva's Second Stage on October 16, 2005. However, the new Enterprise Drive had not been finished to connect to Unionville GO Station and Kennedy, so the openings of this Vivastation and Enterprise Vivastation were delayed to the Third Stage of Viva on November 20, 2005 with a detour on Highway 407 nearby.
There were rumours to be believed that the construction workers made a mistake while putting the fins in these stations. The fins read, Warden, when they should read, Warden Avenue, as the oneRide ticket machine does.
