Warbler
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There are three groups of passerine birds, order Passeriformes, which are called warblers.
They are not particularly closely related, but share some characteristics, such as being fairly small, active and insectivorous.
The three families concerned are:
- Old World warblers, families Sylviidae and Cisticolidae
- New World warblers, family Parulidae
- Australian warblers, family Acanthizidae.
