War crimes in Manchukuo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
War crimes in Manchukuo are war crimes committed during the Japanese rule of Manchukuo, from 1931 to 1945. Various war crimes have been alleged. They have received comparatively little attention.
During the "Tokyo Trials" of 1946 many Japanese soldiers and officials were charged with war crimes and many of them were executed.
Japanese revisionist historians have contested that such crimes occurred (as for similar allegations in other parts of Asia). Right-wing nationalist groups in Japan dismiss them as lies, or anti-Japanese propaganda, made or still being made by communists and Japan's opponents. See historical revisionism (Japan).

Many war crimes were committed by Unit 731.
