[edit] Appearances

[edit] Digimon Tamers

WarGrowlmon first appeared when Mihiramon of the Devas appeared. Because it was much stronger than most other Digimon, a Blue Card suddenly appeared and by slashing it, Growlmon was able to digivolve to WarGrowlmon, which then defeated Mihiramon. Growlmon later digivolved again to defeat the Devas Indramon and Vikaralamon, although the latter one nearly destroyed him. When the Tamers entered the Digital World, WarGrowlmon again appeared to fight Beelzemon but because of Takato's rage and his desire to kill Beelzemon (who had killed Leomon), WarGrowlmon digivolved to Megidramon. Later WarGrowlmon was also present to fight some agents of the D-Reaper.

[edit] Battle of Adventurers

Growlmon digivolved to WarGrowlmon to help Rapidmon and Taomon fight Gulfmon. They combined their attacks in the Trinity Burst Attack and defeated Gulfmon.

[edit] Digimon World DS

WarGrowlmon evolves from Growlmon, and can evolve further into Gallantmon depending on its stats.

[edit] Trivia

WarGrowlmon's appearance is said to be based off that of Eva Unit-01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion. They have similar mouthplates and arms, and the seemingly useless cord on WarGrowlmon's back represents the umbilical cable that provides the Eva Units with power.
