Wandsworth Road railway station is on the inner South London Line from London Victoria to London Bridge (London, England). It has a train service in each direction roughly once every thirty minutes.

It is operated by Southern; the next stations in either direction are Battersea Park (to the west, towards Victoria) and Clapham High Street (to the east, towards London Bridge).

This is proposed to be served also by London Overground. This station was one of the original stations to be served by the East London Line extension before. It is possible a new curve will have to be built in order to carry the London Overground trains to Clapham Junction.
