Walter Harriman (governor)

Walter Harriman (April 8, 1817July 25, 1884) was an American preacher, merchant, soldier, and politician from Warner, New Hampshire.

Born in in Warner, New Hampshire, he fought with the 11th New Hampshire Regiment in the Civil War, and by the war's end was a brevet brigadier general. He served two terms as Governor of New Hampshire. He died in Concord, New Hampshire.
