Walter Haefner

Walter Haefner is a Swiss billionaire and horse breeder born on September 13, 1910. He is the biggest individual shareholder in Computer Associates. He owns Ireland's Moyglare Stud Farm, where fifteen Group One and seven classic winners were bred, spread across eight countries: Ireland, England, France, Germany, Italy, USA, Canada and Australia.
The classic winners are: Refuse To Bend (English Two Thousand Guineas), Bikala (Prix du Jockey Club), Assert (Prix du Jockey Club and Irish Derby), Again Tomorrow (Premio Parioli), Trusted Partner (Irish One Thousand Guineas), Go And Go (Belmont Stakes), Dance Design (Irish Oaks).
The eight additional Group One winners (in order of success) are: Carwhite (Prix d’Ispahan), Stanerra (Japan Cup), Twilight Agenda (Meadowlands Cup), Market Booster (Bayerisches Zuchtrennen), Brief Truce (St. James Palace Stakes), Media Puzzle (Melbourne Cup), Dress To Thrill (Matriarch Stakes), Relaxed Gesture (Canadian International).
