Walt Jabsco
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Walt Jabsco is the official logo of the late-1970s English record label 2 Tone Records.
Created by Jerry Dammers and Horace Panter of the ska revival band The Specials, the Walt Jabsco logo defined the 2 Tone movement that swept urban Britain in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The fictional character's likeness portrays a man in a black suit, white shirt, black tie, pork pie hat, white socks and black loafers (based on a photograph of Peter Tosh, a former member of the Wailers.)
