Walnut Creek (BART station)

Walnut Creek is a Bay Area Rapid Transit station that serves Walnut Creek, California. The station consists of two side platforms. The station is on Ygnacio Valley Road, one of the major east/west thoroughfares of Walnut Creek.
The station is located near the northeastern end of a curved structure where the BART tracks cross over the Interstate 680-California State Route 24 freeway interchange.
Service at this station began on May 21, 1973. [1]
